The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan discussed preparations for the Japanese delegation’s visit to Astana with Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC
On April 22, 2026, a working meeting of representatives of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan was held at the premises of NCE RK “Atameken” with the participation of Japanese partners. The meeting was dedicated to preparing the business program for the visit of a Japanese delegation to Astana scheduled for May 21–23, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Murat Karimsakov, Co-Chairman of the Kazakhstan–Japan Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation Sabr Yessimbekov, Chairman of the Audit Commission of NCE RK “Atameken” Nurlan Sarsenbay, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Diana Zhakutova, as well as representatives of the Japanese side, including ROTOBO and Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC. Some participants joined the discussion online.
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed organizational aspects of the Japanese delegation’s visit, including the preparation of key business events. Particular attention was given to organizing a pitch session with the participation of Kazakhstani companies—members of the Chamber, forming the pool of participants and ensuring registration, as well as arranging a networking reception with the involvement of a broad business audience.
A separate part of the discussion focused on the business program scheduled for May 22, including B2B meetings, visits to Kazakhstani companies, and determining the most suitable format of interaction taking into account the interests of the Japanese side. Proposals for the program on May 23, including business and cultural activities, were also reviewed.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in developing Kazakhstan–Japan trade and economic cooperation and agreed to continue coordination in preparing the visit to ensure practical outcomes for the business communities of both countries.
