Strengthening ties: Kazakhstan and Germany discussed prospects for cooperation

A Kazakh-German investment round table entitled "Investments and Innovations: Astana in the lens of Germany" was held in Astana.

This event brought together representatives of the business community from both countries to discuss investment opportunities, joint work plans and concrete steps to implement the agreements reached at the highest level.

Among the participants of the round table were Katrina Klaas-Mulheuser, Chairman of the Board of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, Eduard Kinsbruner, Regional Director for Central Asia of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, Albert Rau, Deputy Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and co-founder of the Kazakhstan Association of Germans Vozrozhdenie, and Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan.

Murat Karimsakov, in his speech, noting the importance of dialogue between the business communities of the two countries, highlighted the signed Decree on economic liberalization, emphasizing its role in ensuring the inviolability of private property, supporting competition and removing administrative barriers.

"The Atameken NCE and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan are ready to support any initiatives of cooperation between the business of our countries and act as your reliable partner. To do this, we can provide turnkey services for German organizations and entrepreneurs to find potential partners in the regions, support projects, review investment projects, and organize B2B and B2G meetings," Murat Karimsakov emphasized.

The event also became a platform for signing an agreement between the Public Foundation "Kazakhstan Association of Germans "Vozrozhdenie" and FAV SERVICE GG GmbH on cooperation in the field of education.

The round table was organized as part of the visit of the delegation of the Eastern Committee to Kazakhstan and is an important component of the broad program of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany.
