On April 3, 2026, Astana hosted the presentation of the IV China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and a seminar on Kazakhstan–China cooperation in supply chains. The event was organized by the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and CCPIT.

The event served as an important platform for discussing prospects for cooperation in logistics, industry, and international trade, bringing together representatives of government agencies, financial institutions, and businesses from both countries. Among the participants were Lü Honghai, General Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Almaty; Karlygash Minzhasarova, Head of Business Development of the China Desk at Bank CenterCredit JSC; and Han Chunlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan was represented by its Chairman of the Board, Murat Karimsakov.

In his remarks, Murat Karimsakov highlighted the strategic transformation of the global economy and the growing importance of supply chains as a key element of sustainable development and international competitiveness. “Supply chains have long ceased to be merely a logistical tool. Today, they form the foundation of economic resilience, serve as a critical mechanism for the redistribution of value added, and represent one of the key factors of international competitiveness,” he emphasized.

He also underlined Kazakhstan’s role as a strategic participant in Eurasian supply chains, noting that the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan performs a practical and coordinating function by facilitating interaction between business, government entities, and foreign partners, and by translating business dialogue into concrete projects and sustainable cooperative ties.

It was further emphasized that participation of Kazakhstani companies in the China International Supply Chain Expo is viewed by the Chamber as an effective instrument for entering foreign markets, establishing direct contacts with Chinese and international partners, and integrating into real production and logistics chains. In this regard, the Chamber stands ready to form a pool of domestic companies, organize business delegations, support negotiation processes, and facilitate the development of reached agreements.

During the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between China International Exhibition Center Group Limited and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan. The document предусматривает the establishment of friendly cooperative relations aimed at attracting participants and visitors to the IV China International Supply Chain Expo, as well as mutual support in promoting the exhibition, coordinating preparatory activities, and creating favorable conditions for expanding business participation.

The program also included a presentation of the opportunities offered by the IV China International Supply Chain Expo and a panel discussion on the prospects of Kazakhstan-China cooperation in supply chains, with participation from international companies, industry associations, and government representatives.

The participation and organization of this event by the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan confirm its active role in advancing international economic cooperation, promoting Kazakhstani businesses in foreign markets, and fostering sustainable cooperative ties across the Eurasian space.
