

Atameken NCE and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the delegation of the Boao Forum for Asia

On May 30, 2025, a meeting was held in Astana between the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan with the delegation of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) headed by Secretary General Mr. Zhang Jun.
From the Kazakh side, the meeting was attended by Chairman of the Presidium of the Atameken NCE Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Murat Karimsakov, and Director of the Department of International Cooperation Diana Zhakutova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the Kazakhstani business community and the Boao Forum, focusing on strengthening economic ties, developing digital platforms, and expanding joint initiatives in the Central Asian region.
“Kazakhstan is interested in further deepening cooperation with China — both bilaterally and in multilateral formats. We are open to continuous dialogue and comprehensive business cooperation. I am confident that today’s meeting marks an important step in strengthening business ties between our organizations and will open up new horizons for sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership,” noted Raimbek Batalov.
Zhang Jun expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that the BFA is an international platform aimed at promoting economic integration. Particular attention is paid to sustainable development issues, including climate challenges, the transition to new energy sources, and the achievement of the UN’s global goals. One of the key areas of the BFA’s work is the development of interregional cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.
The visit also highlighted the upcoming Second Meeting of the China – Central Asia Business Council, scheduled for June 17, 2025, in Astana. The Kazakh side invited BFA representatives to participate in the event as a significant platform for discussing regional cooperation and new investment opportunities.
The parties expressed their readiness for continued cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of economy, investment, logistics, digitalization, and green technologies.
