KazCIC Discussed the Development of Business Cooperation with BeNeLux Representatives

On June 2, 2026, a meeting was held at the premises of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” between Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of KazCIC, and Denis Van den Weyhe, President of the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce Association.

During the negotiations, the parties reviewed current issues related to the development of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the BeNeLux countries and discussed preparations for a number of upcoming bilateral events.

Particular attention was given to preparations for the 2nd Kazakhstan–Netherlands Business Council Meeting, scheduled to take place on June 23, 2026, in Astana. The participants discussed organizational matters, the formation of the business agenda, and the engagement of business representatives from both countries in the event.

In addition, the parties reviewed preparations for the 4th Belgium–Kazakhstan Business Council Meeting, preliminarily scheduled for October this year within the framework of the State Visit of Belgium to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Another topic of discussion was the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce’s plans to organize a business mission of Luxembourg companies to Kazakhstan in the autumn of 2026. The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation and coordination in arranging meetings between business representatives of the two countries.

“KazCIC consistently works to expand international business ties and create additional opportunities for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs. I am confident that the implementation of the planned initiatives will contribute to strengthening economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the BeNeLux countries and further developing direct contacts between business communities,” noted Murat Karimsakov.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership and agreed to continue joint efforts in preparing the planned events and expanding business cooperation between Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
