KazCIC and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Discussed Further Development of Business Cooperation
On May 29, a meeting between representatives of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan (KazCIC) and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held at the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by Diana Zhakutova, Director of the International Cooperation Department of KazCIC, and Gennady Klyga, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus, preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Kazakhstan–Belarus Business Council, as well as the participation of business representatives from both countries in international exhibitions and trade fairs.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening practical interaction between entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and Belarus, including the organization of business missions, B2B meetings, partner search, exporter support, and promotion of products in the markets of both countries.
The participants also reviewed the prospects for Kazakhstan’s participation in the “Innoprom Belarus” exhibition, the development of cooperation in the exhibition industry, and opportunities to expand interaction within the framework of the “Belarus – Central Asia” forum.
A separate part of the discussion focused on the digitalization of services provided by chambers of commerce and industry, the development of electronic document management, and the implementation of electronic exchange of certificates of origin between EAEU member states and third countries.
In addition, the parties exchanged experience in organizing trade and economic missions, supporting foreign delegations, and providing commercial services. They also discussed several systemic issues related to logistics, exchange trading, and export-import regulation.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue preparations for the next meeting of the Kazakhstan–Belarus Business Council, which is planned to be held in the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the “Innoprom Belarus” exhibition, and to intensify joint efforts in organizing business missions, forums, and industry-specific events aimed at strengthening business ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
