

NCE Atameken and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan took part in the AIF 2025 International Forum

On May 29, 2025, the two-day Astana International Forum (AIF 2025) started in Astana. The forum gathered more than 7,000 participants, including about 600 foreign guests, including heads of state, international organizations, corporations, investors and representatives of the scientific community.
The official opening ceremony was held by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who stressed the importance of international cooperation.:
"The Astana International Forum was created to support this cooperation by providing a platform based on mutual respect and an open exchange of views. This year's theme, "Uniting Minds, Shaping the Future–" is both a call and a persuasion. It reflects our belief that global challenges cannot be overcome in isolation."
The event was attended by Chairman of the Presidium of the NCE "Atameken" Raimbek Batalov and Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Murat Karimsakov. They held a number of meetings and negotiations aimed at strengthening international cooperation and developing trade and economic ties.
Also, within the framework of the forum, the NCE Atameken and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan accompany foreign delegations from Mongolia, Japan, Rwanda, North Macedonia and other countries. Special attention was paid to negotiations with representatives of the Mongolian private investment company Steppe Copper LLC, where prospects for further cooperation in the field of trade and investment were discussed.
Separately, a meeting was held with Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khurram Teshabayev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhtiyor Ibragimov. During the talks, the parties discussed issues of further cooperation and expansion of cooperation.
AIF 2025 covers three key topics: foreign policy and international security, energy and climate change, economics and finance. More than 50 panel sessions and events are planned within the framework of the forum, including discussions on sustainable development, energy security and international cooperation.
The participation of NCE "Atameken" and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan in AIF 2025 underlines Kazakhstan's desire to strengthen international dialogue and expand partnerships. The Forum serves as an important platform for establishing business contacts and promoting joint initiatives in various sectors of the economy.
