The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan announces the appointment of Aslan Kuniyarov as the Honorary Representative in Azerbaijan.

Aslan Kuniyarov is an entrepreneur and expert with extensive experience in international diplomacy, business, and Government Relations (GR). He has been actively fostering sustainable intergovernmental partnerships and strengthening economic and institutional ties between countries.

For many years, he has contributed to the development of business relations among Turkic countries, initiated international projects, and supported entrepreneurial initiatives.

Currently, he serves as the Deputy Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan Business Council, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Turkic Entrepreneurs, and a member of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Presidium Committees on SME development, tourism, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.

His expertise in international GR includes cooperation with government bodies, business associations, and international organizations, as well as promoting the economic interests of Kazakhstani entrepreneurs in foreign markets.

Aslan Kuniyarov graduated from the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, A. Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University, KazGUU, and the University of Business and International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. He is currently completing a specialized doctoral program in international relations and diplomacy in Prague.

“Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are historically brotherly nations, which provides a solid foundation for further cooperation. In 2024, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan reached USD 533 million. While this is already a significant achievement, the potential of our relations is much greater. I see my appointment as an opportunity to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between our countries, facilitate Kazakhstani businesses’ entry into new markets, promote Azerbaijani initiatives, and build long-term partnerships,” said Aslan Kuniyarov.

The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan is confident that the experience and international network of the new Honorary Representative will help expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation, boost export potential, and open new opportunities for entrepreneurs of both countries.
