The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Strengthens Strategic Partnership with Chinese Organizations
On February 11, 2026, a working meeting was held with the participation of Bauyrzhan Zhaksylykov, Member of the Board – Chief of Staff of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, and Ms. Liu Yue, Chief Representative of the Representative Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to further interaction and expansion of cooperation, strengthening bilateral partnership with China, as well as potential new formats of joint work, including the development of investment cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the role of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan in coordinating international business engagement and promoting Kazakhstani companies through digital export channels.
The Chinese side emphasized the stable and constructive nature of the partnership: “We have established very good, strong, and friendly relations with the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan. Effective and constructive cooperation has been built both at the CCPIT headquarters level and across our representative offices,” noted Ms. Liu Yue.
The parties also reviewed prospects for institutional cooperation, mechanisms for integrating digital solutions into international trade processes, and formats of interaction with foreign partners, chambers of commerce, and business associations. Among the areas discussed was the Silk Way Asia system as one of the tools for digital support of foreign trade.
For his part, Bauyrzhan Zhaksylykov reaffirmed readiness to expand practical cooperation: “We are focused on building close and systematic partnership. Currently, large-scale investment projects are being implemented that require the participation of the Chinese side and the attraction of capital. In each of these projects, the strategic presence of a key partner is essential.”
