KazCIC and RX China discuss participation of Kazakh companies in international exhibition in Shanghai
On March 12, 2026, a working meeting was held in Astana between Madina Yesdauletovna, Deputy Director of the Commercial Activities Department of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, and a delegation of the international exhibition company RX China - the Chinese division of the global exhibition group RX Global, which is part of the international holding RELX Group. The delegation included Senior Marketing Communications Specialist Bianca Huang and Marketing Manager Caroline Wang.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in attracting Kazakh companies to the 21st International Aluminium Industry Exhibition of China, scheduled to take place from July 8 to 10, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai. Representatives of RX China presented the format of the event and opportunities available for foreign delegations, including the organization of business meetings, visits to the exhibition, and interaction with exhibiting companies. It was also noted that preferential conditions will be provided for representatives of the Kazakh delegation, including organizational support as well as complimentary accommodation and meals for entrepreneurs participating in the exhibition’s business program and familiarization visits.
Caroline Wang, Marketing Manager at RX China, emphasized the company’s interest in developing cooperation with partners from Central Asia.
“Kazakhstan is an important economic partner in the region. We are interested in expanding the participation of Kazakh companies in international industry exhibitions in China and in developing long-term business cooperation,” she noted.
Representatives of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, in turn, highlighted the importance of international exhibition platforms for promoting domestic businesses in foreign markets.
“Participation of Kazakh companies in international industry exhibitions contributes to the expansion of business contacts, the development of industrial cooperation, and the promotion of domestic products in foreign markets,” Madina Yesdauletovna noted.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in further developing cooperation and agreed to prepare and sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and RX China aimed at strengthening the partnership and expanding opportunities for Kazakh entrepreneurs to participate in international exhibitions and business events.
