Meeting Held with the CCPIT Shaanxi Delegation

On April 22, 2026, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan held a working meeting with representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Shaanxi Province (CCPIT Shaanxi) and four leading companies from the region. The meeting was chaired by Madina Yesdauletova, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Activities of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed practical mechanisms for expanding trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Shaanxi Province, including preparations for participation in the 2026 Exchange & Matching Conference of International Chambers of Commerce in Xi’an, to be held within the framework of the 10th Silk Road International Exhibition. Particular attention was given to the development of an effective platform for Kazakhstani companies to enter the Chinese market, the organization of productive B2B meetings, and the promotion of domestic products.

The Chinese side presented the key focus areas of the upcoming event, including industrial cooperation, development of the digital economy, implementation of green technologies, and expansion of international trade. The parties also held in-depth discussions on tools for organizing business missions, presenting investment projects, and establishing direct contacts between companies with subsequent development into contractual agreements.

Special emphasis was placed on the practical orientation of cooperation, including the participation of Kazakhstani businesses in sectoral exhibitions in China, the development of direct business ties, and the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors of the economy.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached to establish systematic cooperation, intensify bilateral contacts, and continue joint efforts to engage Kazakhstani companies in international events with a focus on achieving tangible export results.
