The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Held a Meeting with Representatives of 12 Chinese Companies

On October 18, 2025, in Astana, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan held a meeting with a delegation from the People’s Republic of China, which included representatives of 12 companies engaged in trade, real estate, manufacturing, and industrial equipment sectors.

From the Kazakh side, the meeting was attended by Alisher Darkembayev, Director of the Department of Commercial Activities of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan. He presented the activities of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, and spoke about opportunities for cooperation with Kazakhstani businesses.

From the Chinese side, Mr. Huang Dongfeng expressed gratitude for organizing the meeting and noted that the main purpose of the visit was to study Kazakhstan’s practical experience within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, as well as to explore investment and trade opportunities in the Kazakh market.

According to Mr. Huang, all members of the delegation are actively engaged in trade and are interested in establishing business contacts with local entrepreneurs, learning about Kazakhstan’s investment policy, and implementing joint projects.

During the discussion, Alisher Darkembayev emphasized the Chamber’s readiness to assist Chinese companies in finding partners and developing projects: “We are ready to provide comprehensive support from our side. I suggest compiling a list of companies and specific requests to identify potential areas of cooperation,” he noted.

In addition, he proposed that participants exchange contact information and send details about their businesses and needs for further communication and development of specific initiatives.

Representatives of the Chinese delegation expressed strong interest in establishing long-term contacts and hope for further support from the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan in organizing business meetings and partnership events. For their part, the companies expressed readiness to contribute to attracting foreign investment and advanced technologies to Kazakhstan, promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.
