On November 11, 2025, in the city of Uralsk, at the “Atameken” Art Center, the 10th anniversary meeting of the Kazakhstan–Russia Business Council was held under the theme “Development of Skilled Professions as the Key to Industrialization and Import Substitution.” The event took place within the framework of the 21st Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.

From the Kazakh side, the meeting was moderated by Murat Zhakiyaev, Chairman of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the West Kazakhstan Region, and from the Russian side — Natalia Kryuchkova, Executive Director of the Russian part of the Council.

The meeting gathered representatives of government agencies, business circles, and educational institutions of both countries, including heads of industrial enterprises, universities, and development institutes.

The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan was represented by Barzoni Nabiev, Deputy Co-Chairman of the Kazakh part of the Council and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ABS Stroy LLP. In his speech, Mr. Nabiev emphasized the importance of training skilled workers as a key factor in industrialization and technological independence.

“Skilled professions are the foundation of any production system and the basis of sustainable economic growth. Without qualified specialists, it is impossible to implement even the most advanced engineering ideas. The quality, reliability, and durability of industrial products and structures directly depend on their professionalism, discipline, and responsibility,” - said Barzoni Nabiev.

He also shared successful examples of cooperation between ABS Stroy, Mostostroy-12, and Mostostroy KZ with their Russian partners — Kurganstalmost, Tyumenstalmont, Mostostroy-11, and Omsk Mostovik. These partnerships resulted in major infrastructure projects such as the railway overpass to the Nurly Zhol station and the bypass road around the city of Pavlodar.

The meeting concluded with a signing ceremony of several agreements and contracts, including a Memorandum of Understanding between JSC “Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” and LLP “Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan.”
