During the discussions, Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Presidium of “Atameken” NCE, noted:
“Kazakhstan and China are linked by a strong strategic partnership, supported by historically friendly relations, a high level of political dialogue, and actively developing trade and economic cooperation. In 2024, according to official statistics, trade turnover between our countries exceeded 43.8 billion US dollars, setting a new record in the history of bilateral relations. This figure not only demonstrates the scale of mutual trade but also reflects the depth of economic interdependence and trust between our states.”
At the meeting, the delegation of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union presented the current needs of enterprises in their region. Among the participants was Shenzhen Kangguan Technology Co – a manufacturer of smart displays and televisions. The representatives expressed interest in holding negotiations with leading Kazakhstani retailers to discuss supply conditions and possible formats of cooperation. The company is also looking for a partner in Kazakhstan to organize TV assembly production — using local technologies, production capacities, or on outsourcing terms.
In addition, Shenzhen DYU Intelligence Co, specializing in the production of electric bicycles and smart transport, expressed interest in attracting investment to build a factory for the production of two- and three-wheeled electric vehicles and E-bikes. The company is also seeking partners to implement E-bike sharing projects as part of urban mobility development.
Key areas of bilateral cooperation were also discussed at the meeting, including the entry of Chinese brands into the Kazakhstani market through localized production, franchising, and contract assembly; promotion of building materials and commercial real estate; and expansion of retail networks. Special attention was also paid to organizing targeted B2B negotiations between interested parties.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed mutual interest in strengthening the partnership, continuing the dialogue, and implementing joint initiatives in key sectors of the economy.
