An agreement on the establishment of the Kazakh-Latvian Business Council has been signed

On April 25, 2025, an agreement was signed in Astana between the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Latvian Employers' Confederation on the establishment of the Kazakh-Latvian Business Council. The new cooperation mechanism is aimed at developing trade and economic ties, supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and promoting joint investment projects.

The document was signed by Roman Abenov, representative of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan in the Baltic States, and Rinalds Plavnieks, from the Latvian Employers' Confederation.

The Kazakh-Latvian Business Council will create additional opportunities for the business community of both countries, become an effective platform for information exchange, partner search and implementation of promising projects.

The Chamber of Foreign Trade of Kazakhstan expresses confidence that joint work within the framework of the Kazakh-Latvian Business Council will contribute to the development of long-term partnership and the deepening of economic ties between the two countries.
