On November 9, 2026, the Kazakhstan–U.S. Business Roundtable, titled “From Strategic Partnership to Concrete Projects,” will take place in Washington, D.C., on the sidelines of the B20 USA Summit. The event will focus on expanding trade and investment cooperation and developing joint projects in key sectors of the economy. The roundtable is organized by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The roundtable will bring together the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Cooperation with the United States – Honorary Co-Chair of the U.S.–Kazakhstan Business Council; senior representatives of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, Kazakhtelecom, Kazatomprom, Air Astana, ERG, and other national and private companies, as well as leading American companies that are members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The main topics of the meeting will include investment and trade; digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and financial technologies; transport and logistics; critical minerals, energy, and industry. Participants will discuss successful examples of bilateral cooperation, promising projects, and opportunities to attract American capital and technologies to Kazakhstan. The open discussion format will enable companies to present their proposals directly and identify next steps toward establishing partnerships, ranging from the development of digital and transport infrastructure to industrial cooperation and ensuring sustainable supplies of strategic raw materials.

The implementation of joint projects has the potential to generate a multiplier effect for Kazakhstan's economy by creating additional orders for domestic suppliers and small and medium-sized enterprises, generating new jobs, and expanding opportunities for technology transfer and professional training. The development of partnerships will also contribute to the growth of related industries and strengthen the export potential of Kazakhstani companies.

A number of documents aimed at expanding investment and technological cooperation are expected to be signed during the Summit. They will cover energy and gas processing, digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence, transport and logistics, industrial cooperation, and agricultural technologies. The agreements reached will lay the groundwork for launching new joint projects and attracting investment to priority sectors of Kazakhstan's economy.

The upcoming meeting will serve as an important platform for advancing the interests of Kazakhstani businesses, expanding international business ties, and creating new opportunities for cooperation with American partners.
