KazCIC Strengthens Cooperation with Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Morocco
On 4 November 2026, Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, met with Ainur Danenova, who was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Morocco on 31 October 2026.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board outlined the Chamber’s work to develop cooperation with Moroccan partners. In particular, a meeting with representatives of Morocco’s diplomatic and business communities took place in Astana in October. Discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade, establishing joint production facilities and using Morocco’s trade and logistics capabilities to bring Kazakh products to African markets.
Murat Karimsakov also presented the outcomes of his working visit to Morocco on 20–23 July 2026. As a member of Kazakhstan’s official delegation, he took part in meetings with the leadership of relevant government agencies and the first meeting of the Kazakhstan–Morocco Business Council. Talks with business representatives addressed industrial cooperation, investment attraction, and cooperation in the agro-industrial sector and fertiliser production.
The Chairman of the Board emphasised the Chamber’s readiness to work closely with Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Morocco to assist entrepreneurs, identify business partners and support promising joint projects.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain regular working contact, exchange information on cooperation opportunities and coordinate efforts to develop direct ties between the business communities of Kazakhstan and Morocco.
