On February 19, 2025, a meeting between representatives of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce took place at the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. The discussions focused on strengthening economic cooperation, supporting exporters, attracting investments, and digitizing business processes.

The meeting was attended by Murat Karimzakov, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, deputy directors of the departments of international cooperation and commercial activities, as well as Arman Kumisbayev, General Director of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, and his deputy, Irina Li.

One of the key topics was the upcoming Kazakhstan-Belgium Business Council meeting, scheduled for June 2025 in Brussels. The event will address business financing, engagement with European investors, and the development of economic ties between Kazakhstan and the Benelux countries.

Additionally, the Kazakhstan-Netherlands Business Council is set to take place in Almaty in the fall of 2025, bringing together representatives of Kazakh and Dutch companies interested in expanding partnerships.

The meeting also covered the introduction of digital solutions for businesses, particularly the eGov Business platform, which will provide entrepreneurs with access to the state support registry, business climate analytics, and other digital tools. Participants discussed export opportunities, including the increasing demand for organic products from Kazakhstan in the Benelux market.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration and the formation of business delegations for upcoming international events.
