Kazakhstan and Israel’s Business Communities Set Sights on New Joint Projects

Astana, 27 January 2026 - Kanat Alin, Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Atameken,» took part in the Kazakhstan-Israel Business Forum held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan acted as a co-organizer of the event, supporting the development of direct dialogue between the business communities of the two countries.

The Kazakhstan-Israel Business Forum brought together representatives of government bodies, development institutions, national companies, and the business communities of both countries. The focus was on strengthening economic cooperation, exchanging practical solutions, and promoting initiatives aimed at sustainable development, technological modernization, and enhancing business competitiveness.

As part of the business program, Kanat Alin spoke as a panel session speaker and underlined the importance of the forum as a practical instrument for building partnerships, attracting investment, and advancing cooperation in priority sectors of the economy.

In his remarks, the Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of NCE RK «Atameken» noted that Kazakhstan is interested in expanding cooperation with Israeli companies that have strong expertise in innovation and high technologies, including agro-technologies, water solutions, digital services, healthcare, and startup projects. He also emphasized that these areas are particularly relevant for Kazakhstan’s economy in the context of increasing production efficiency and developing high value-added products.

“The Kazakhstan-Israel Business Forum is a professional platform focused on strengthening entrepreneurial ties, enhancing investment cooperation, and launching joint commercial projects. We see strong potential for practical engagement - from technology localization and the establishment of joint ventures to knowledge transfer and the involvement of small and medium-sized businesses in cooperation chains. NCE «Atameken» is ready to support new initiatives from idea to implementation and to accompany projects at all stages,” Kanat Alin noted.

It was also highlighted that Kazakhstan offers foreign partners a transparent and competitive business environment, access to regional markets, developed infrastructure, special economic and industrial zones, as well as support instruments for investors and entrepreneurs.

 During the forum, it was noted that the greatest potential for expanding business ties and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel is associated with such areas as the agro-industrial complex and agro-technologies, water technologies and resource-use optimization, digital solutions and IT, healthcare and biomedical technologies, as well as industrial cooperation and business services.

It should be noted that representatives of key government and institutional structures, as well as organizations supporting business and investment, also took part in the event. From the Israeli side, participants included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, and Israel’s business community, including companies and organizations interested in expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan.

The practical part of the event included B2B meetings in the «Speed Dating» format aimed at establishing direct contacts between companies, discussing joint initiatives, and identifying specific growth points for bilateral projects.

NCE RK «Atameken» confirms its readiness to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs interested in developing international cooperation and to facilitate the promotion of joint initiatives with Israeli partners. It is expected that the forum’s outcomes will serve as a foundation for strengthening business ties, expanding investment dialogue, and building sustainable partnerships between the business communities of the two countries.
