The 5th Meeting of the Kazakhstan-Saudi Business Council Held with the Participation of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan
On February 17, 2026, in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), the 5th meeting of the Kazakhstan–Saudi Business Council was held as part of the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev.
A delegation of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan took part in the event. Gani Amanbayev, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, joined the delegation to represent the interests of domestic businesses and hold working meetings with the Saudi side.
During the meeting, a ceremony for the signing of memorandums between Kazakh and Saudi organizations took place, as well as the official opening attended by the Ministers of both countries and the Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan bin Moejeb Al-Huwaizi. In addition, sectoral sessions were held on investment, industrial and agricultural cooperation, logistics, transport, and digital solutions, as well as B2B negotiations between companies of the two countries.

Speaking at the meeting, Gani Amanbayev emphasized the strategic nature of Kazakhstan–Saudi relations and the important role of the Business Council as an effective platform for promoting joint investment projects and expanding direct contacts between entrepreneurs.
“Saudi Arabia is Kazakhstan’s key partner in the Middle East. Our countries possess significant potential to expand cooperation in food security, green energy, logistics, and the mining industry,” he noted.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as in implementing new joint initiatives in priority sectors of the economy.
