KazCIC and the Embassy of Venezuela Discuss Ways to Enhance Tourist Exchange

Today, representatives of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan held a meeting with H.E. Lo Bue Antico Rosalba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The parties discussed the development of cooperation in tourism, including the possibility of considering a visa-free regime between the two countries.

The discussion was attended by Diana Zhakutova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of KazCIC, and Damilya Kunanova, Director of the Tourism Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”.

During the meeting, the parties addressed issues related to promoting the tourism potential of Kazakhstan and Venezuela, facilitating mutual travel for citizens, and exploring further cooperation formats between specialized organizations.

Damilya Kunanova, Director of the Tourism Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, emphasized that the development of tourism has a positive impact on the national economy. She expressed gratitude to the Venezuelan side for the visit and constructive dialogue, and proposed organizing a dedicated meeting for tour operators of both countries to establish direct contacts and enhance practical cooperation.

The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan expressed its readiness to support further steps aimed at strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector and creating favorable conditions for expanding tourist exchange between Kazakhstan and Venezuela.
