The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Develops Business Contacts in China

As part of a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Murat Karimsakov, held a series of meetings with representatives of major Chinese corporations aimed at maintaining and developing business contacts between Kazakhstan and China.

On December 22, a meeting was held with Ms. Zeng Qi, Deputy General Director and member of the Party Committee of CITIC Group, as well as Deputy General Director of CITIC Limited and CITIC Corporation Limited. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of interaction and discussed opportunities for further development of working contacts.

The interlocutors emphasized their interest in maintaining a regular dialogue and continuing contacts through business institutions, and also noted the importance of direct interaction between the business communities of the two countries.

On the same day, the Chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan held a meeting with Yang Renqiang, Chairman of the Board of Aladdin Holdings Group Co., Ltd. During the talks, the parties discussed general approaches to the development of cooperation and exchanged views on possible areas of further interaction.

Following the meetings, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing dialogue, maintaining working contacts, and developing cooperation based on direct interaction between the business communities of Kazakhstan and China.

The working visit of the Chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan to China became an important element in strengthening business ties and forming a foundation for further fruitful interaction with Chinese partners.
