Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Holds Meeting with Delegation from Xihu District of Hangzhou

On August 21, 2026, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan (KAZCIC) held a meeting with an official delegation from Xihu District of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, the People’s Republic of China.

The Chinese delegation was headed by Li Yangzhang, Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Xihu District Committee. The delegation also included representatives of government bodies and organizations of Xihu District.

The Kazakh side was represented by Madina Yesdauletova, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Activities of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of cinematography, creative industries, modern digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for implementing joint projects, the application of AI technologies in the creation and promotion of audiovisual content, as well as the exchange of expertise between specialists from Kazakhstan and China.

The participants also discussed opportunities to establish direct contacts between specialized organizations and companies of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue and further developing promising joint initiatives.
