The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Conducted a Series of Meetings in China
Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Mr. Murat Karimsakov, paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China from June 21 to 24, 2026. During the visit, a number of meetings were held with representatives of Chinese government agencies, business associations, and industry organizations, as well as participation in international events aimed at strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.
On June 22, Mr. Karimsakov attended the opening ceremony of the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), one of the largest international platforms dedicated to global logistics, industrial cooperation, and international trade.
As part of the exhibition, the head of the Chamber spoke at the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Conference on Supply Chain Cooperation Promotion, which brought together representatives of government authorities, international organizations, chambers of commerce, and business communities from various countries. Following the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and the Beijing Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Beijing). The document is aimed at developing direct contacts between entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and China, promoting investment, and expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

A working meeting was also held with the management of Huaquan Electrical Co., Ltd. (Watran), a company specializing in intelligent lighting solutions and Smart City technologies. The parties discussed prospects for introducing modern energy-saving technologies, developing smart city projects, and modernizing Kazakhstan’s urban infrastructure.
On June 23, the head of the Chamber visited the China Building Materials Circulation Association (CBMCA), where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed following the negotiations. The document provides for cooperation in the construction sector, expansion of trade relations, and strengthening partnerships between specialized companies of Kazakhstan and China.


On the same day, a visit was paid to Red Star Macalline Group, one of China’s largest operators of exhibition and retail complexes for home goods, furniture, and construction materials. The parties discussed opportunities for promoting Kazakhstani products in the Chinese market, as well as prospects for cooperation in trade, distribution, and e-commerce.


Special attention was also given to innovation and high technologies. During a meeting with the management of Beijing Chaoti Yuyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., prospects for cooperation in biomedicine, cellular technologies, scientific research, and the implementation of advanced medical developments were discussed.
On June 24, Mr. Karimsakov held talks with Mr. He Zhenwei, Chairman of the China Overseas Development Association (CODA). The parties discussed investment attraction, expansion of trade and economic cooperation, and participation of Kazakhstani companies in the annual fair to be held in Beijing on November 3, 2026.
The final event of the program was a working meeting with the management of China World Trade Center, the largest international business complex in China. The discussions focused on expanding interaction between the business communities of Kazakhstan and China, as well as opportunities for organizing joint business events, investment forums, and trade missions.
As a result of the visit, a number of agreements were reached aimed at further strengthening trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and China, expanding contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries, and promoting new joint projects in industry, infrastructure, construction, innovation, and other promising sectors of the economy
