Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Participates in Gulfood 2026 and Signs Framework Cooperation Agreement

On January 27, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan took part in Gulfood 2026, the world’s largest international exhibition for the food and beverage industry, held from January 26 to 30 in Dubai. The event served as an important platform for strengthening external economic relations and developing new formats of international business cooperation.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented as a National Pavilion for the first time. This approach ensured a comprehensive showcase of domestic products and created favorable conditions for business meetings and negotiations with international partners. The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan contribution aimed at expanding international contacts and identifying promising areas for cooperation.

One of the key outcomes of the participation was the signing of a cooperation framework agreement between the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and Aurigga Investments on January 27, 2026. The agreement outlines the core principles, areas, and forms of interaction between the parties to develop a strategic investment partnership.

The priority areas of potential cooperation include projects in waste-to-energy processing and renewable energy, the creation and development of a national distribution network for an electric vehicle manufacturer, and the development of the hospitality sector and related tourism infrastructure. In addition, the agreement provides for cooperation through the exchange of information and analytical materials, consultations and negotiations, assistance in establishing business contacts with governmental, quasi-governmental, and private entities, as well as the joint development of concepts, business models, and investment proposals.

The participation of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan at Gulfood 2026 and the signing of the framework agreement with Aurigga Investments represent tangible results of the business efforts, laying the groundwork for further discussions and elaboration of potential joint projects in an international context.
