

The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Participated in the Kazakhstan–China (Shenzhen) Business and Investment Cooperation Forum

Today, Astana hosted the Kazakhstan–China (Shenzhen) Business and Investment Cooperation Forum. The event was attended by an official business delegation from Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China. The main goal of the forum was to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, strengthen trade and economic ties, and expand investment opportunities.
On behalf of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Ms. Madina Yesdauletova, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Activities, delivered a welcoming speech. She noted that Kazakhstan and China are building a strategic partnership based on mutual respect and trust, while trade turnover between the two countries shows steady growth. In her remarks, she paid special attention to the development of infrastructure and transport corridors. Kazakhstan is a natural bridge between Europe and Asia, and strengthening cooperation with China in logistics and transit will contribute to the growth of trade turnover and open up new opportunities for access to international markets. In addition, Ms. Yesdauletova emphasized the importance of introducing innovations and digital solutions, pointing out that Shenzhen’s experience in this area could be integrated into Kazakhstan’s economy, creating new growth points and enhancing competitiveness.
During the forum, the parties discussed prospects for expanding mutual trade, introducing innovative technologies, localizing production, as well as developing transport and logistics infrastructure. Special attention was given to creating favorable conditions for investment and launching joint projects in priority sectors of the economy.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen the partnership, develop specific areas of cooperation, and establish sustainable mechanisms for the implementation of joint initiatives.
