The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and CCPIT Discussed Plans for Further Cooperation

Today, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Management Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Murat Karimsakov, and representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce.

On behalf of CCPIT, the meeting was attended by Lyu Yue, Chief Representative of the CCPIT Representative Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the organisation of joint events and further plans for cooperation. It was noted that business relations between Kazakhstan and China continue to strengthen, and that the format of direct interaction between the development institutions of the two countries remains an important tool for supporting business.

Speaking at the meeting, Murat Karimsakov emphasised that both sides face important tasks — including fulfilling the instruction of the leadership of the two countries to double bilateral trade. He also underlined the importance of systematic engagement with the business communities of both states and the development of practical, results-oriented cooperation mechanisms.

In turn, Lyu Yue expressed gratitude for the continued support provided to CCPIT’s events in Kazakhstan and highlighted that the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan are among CCPIT’s key partners in the country.

A separate topic of discussion was the annual international Supply Chain exhibition held in China. The parties noted the importance of this platform for the development of logistics and production chains and stressed that it is important for Kazakhstani businesses to actively participate in this exhibition.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation and agreed to continue joint work to deepen business relations between Kazakhstan and the People’s Republic of China.
