On June 22, 2026, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Mr. Murat Karimsakov, as part of the Kazakh business delegation, took part in the events of the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), held in Beijing.

During the visit, Murat Karimsakov attended the official opening ceremony of the exhibition, which was attended by Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), as well as representatives of government agencies, international organizations, business associations, and leading companies from around the world.

On the same day, the head of the Chamber spoke at the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Supply Chain Cooperation Promotion Conference, organized by the CCPIT Committees of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province as part of the exhibition’s business program.

The conference focused on the development of international trade and economic cooperation, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies and digital transformation, the advancement of Smart City concepts, intelligent infrastructure, innovative industrial parks, and the strengthening of global supply chains.

Speaking at the plenary session, Murat Karimsakov noted that relations between Kazakhstan and China have reached an unprecedented level and entered a new stage of development.

"Under the leadership of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, our countries have entered a new era — the ‘Golden Thirty Years’ of bilateral relations. This opens up broad opportunities for trade, investment, industrial cooperation, technological innovation, and people-to-people exchanges. We are confident that closer interaction between business communities, technology transfer, and the implementation of joint investment projects will create new drivers of growth for the economies of Kazakhstan and China," Murat Karimsakov emphasized.

The Chairman of the Chamber noted that the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region is one of China’s key centers for innovation, high-tech manufacturing, and technological development, making it highly attractive for Kazakh businesses in terms of investment attraction, access to advanced technologies, and industrial cooperation.

Particular attention in his speech was given to Kazakhstan’s role as a major transport and logistics hub of Eurasia. It was noted that the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, combined with the Belt and Road Initiative, creates additional opportunities for expanding trade, enhancing transport connectivity, and building resilient supply chains between Asia and Europe.

Mr. Karimsakov also highlighted the strong potential for cooperation in such areas as logistics, industrial manufacturing, agriculture, critical minerals, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence. According to him, the introduction of innovative solutions and advanced technologies can significantly improve production efficiency, strengthen supply chain resilience, and ensure sustainable long-term economic growth.

In conclusion, Murat Karimsakov invited companies from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province to consider Kazakhstan not only as a promising market, but also as a strategic platform for entering the markets of Central Asia, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Caucasus, and the Middle East.

An important outcome of the conference was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and CCPIT Beijing. The document is aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and China, expanding business contacts, supporting investment cooperation, and organizing joint events and business missions.

The participation of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan in the events of the China International Supply Chain Expo marked another important step toward strengthening Kazakhstan–China business cooperation, expanding investment ties, and promoting joint projects in trade, logistics, industry, and high technology.
