Kazakhstan–India B2B Meeting Held in Astana with a Business Delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry

On July 23, 2026, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" hosted a Kazakhstan–India B2B meeting with a business delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The meeting was attended by H.E. Sailas Thangal Yangdenlungtu Kahum, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh side welcomed the participants with opening remarks delivered by Timur Zharkenov, Member of the Management Board and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", and Alisher Darkembayev, Director of the Commercial Activities Department of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan.

The Confederation of Indian Industry organized the visit of a high-level business delegation to Kazakhstan, bringing together executives and senior representatives of leading Indian companies. The CII delegation was headed by Manish Mohan, Senior Director for International Relations (CIS Region), and Karanjit Singh, Director for the CIS Region.

The Indian delegation included representatives of KEC International Limited, Yashoda Medicity, Deccan Gold Mines, NephroPlus, SK Minerals and Additives Ltd, Mohan Mutha Exports Pvt Ltd, Value Energy Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bluearm Technologies Pvt Ltd, Cemtac Cements, Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, as well as Exim Bank of India. The Kazakh side was represented by the Kazakhstan Automobile Union, Green Vortech Ltd, ATS Group, Kazbaza LLP, Bridge CoLab, B&A Trade Kazakhstan, Keruen Invest, Korgan, and other domestic enterprises.

During the meeting, representatives of Kazakh and Indian companies introduced their businesses, presented ongoing and prospective projects, and explored opportunities for cooperation with potential partners. The participants expressed strong interest in expanding investment, trade, economic and technological cooperation, establishing direct business contacts, and implementing joint projects.

Particular attention was given to the presentation by Exim Bank of India. Bank representatives introduced financial instruments supporting foreign economic activities, financing opportunities for export-import operations and investment projects, as well as prospects for financial cooperation with Kazakhstan. The participation of Exim Bank of India creates additional opportunities for the practical support of joint initiatives between Kazakh and Indian businesses.

During the B2B negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the automotive industry, energy, water resources management, mining and metallurgy, healthcare, medical equipment manufacturing, the chemical industry, logistics, tourism, and the hospitality sector.

Following the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continuing business dialogue, exchanging concrete proposals, and further developing joint investment and commercial projects between Kazakhstan and India.
