Establishment of the Regional Committee of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Discussed During an Online Meeting with the Participation of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan

Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Murat Karimsakov, took part in an online meeting dedicated to the establishment of the Regional Committee for Turkic States and Central Asia under the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting brought together representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, as well as business communities interested in expanding practical cooperation between Hungary and the countries of Central Asia.

During the discussion, participants emphasized the importance of launching a new regional format of cooperation as an effective platform for developing business ties, expanding investment cooperation, and strengthening direct interaction between business communities. It was noted that the Committee should become not a formal structure, but a practical mechanism for strengthening economic ties between Hungary and the countries of the region.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to technological cooperation and the establishment of joint production facilities. It was highlighted that Hungary has significant expertise in mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, electronics, agricultural technologies, and water resource management, creating additional opportunities for the implementation of joint projects and the development of industrial cooperation.

Participants also discussed prospects for strengthening transport and logistics connectivity, including the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Among the priority areas identified were improving transportation, synchronizing customs procedures, and reducing administrative barriers to further expand trade between Central Asia and European markets.

Special emphasis was also placed on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, developing direct B2B interaction, organizing regular sectoral missions, and expanding analytical support for businesses to identify new market niches and cooperation opportunities.

The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan continues its work to strengthen international business cooperation and develop effective mechanisms of interaction between Kazakh businesses and foreign partners.
