Kazakhstan–Rwanda Business Council Established
On September 26, 2025, a signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Private Sector Federation of Rwanda (PSF) to establish the Kazakhstan–Rwanda Business Council (KRBC).
The agreement was signed between the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Private Sector Federation of Rwanda (PSF) and aims to deepen economic cooperation, expand business opportunities, and develop practical collaboration between the two countries.

According to the agreement:

Steven Ruzibiza (Rwanda) and Aziz Alzhanov (Kazakhstan) were appointed as Co-Chairs of the Council;

The Council will include five members from each side, representing companies involved in implementing the memorandums signed on May 28, 2025, during the official visit of Rwandan President Paul Kagame to Kazakhstan;

The initial priority areas of cooperation will include mining and minerals, agriculture, information technology, and tourism;

The parties agreed to organize reciprocal business delegations to strengthen trade and economic ties and promote joint initiatives.
The establishment of the Kazakhstan–Rwanda Business Council opens new prospects for entrepreneurs from both countries, provides a sustainable platform for exchanging experience and launching joint projects, and represents an important step in strengthening bilateral relations.
