Kazakhstan–Mongolia Business Forum: The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan participated in strengthening business cooperation
On April 21, 2026, the Kazakhstan–Mongolia Business Forum was held in Astana with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin and the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Jadamyn Enkhbayar. The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan acted as a co-organizer of the event.
The forum served as an important platform for the development of trade and economic cooperation, the establishment of direct business contacts, and the promotion of joint initiatives between the business communities of the two countries. The program included welcome speeches, panel sessions, a document signing ceremony, as well as B2B meetings.
The business forum was moderated by the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Murat Karimsakov, who in his remarks highlighted the steady positive dynamics in the development of Kazakhstan–Mongolia relations and the significant potential for expanding partnership.

“Today’s business forum is an important platform for transitioning from agreements to practical results in the areas of industrial cooperation, the agro-industrial complex, logistics, and digital solutions,” emphasized Murat Karimsakov.
During the event, it was noted that Kazakhstan and Mongolia possess complementary economic potential, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of joint projects and the growth of bilateral trade.
Particular attention was paid to the practical outcomes of the forum. A total of 19 documents were signed on its sidelines, including a contract for the supply of railway wagons between the Mongolian company MONGOLIAN ORE BAL LLC and the Atyrau Wagon Manufacturing Plant worth USD 6.7 million. This agreement will make a significant contribution to the development of industrial cooperation and business ties between the two countries.
The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan continues its systematic work to expand international business cooperation and is ready to provide comprehensive support for joint initiatives — from partner search to the implementation of investment projects within the framework of the Kazakhstan–Mongolia Business Council.
