

Kazakhstan and Türkiye Open a New Chapter of Economic Cooperation

On October 1, 2025, a meeting was held in Astana between the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and representatives of the Kazakhstan–Türkiye Business Council. The visit of the Turkish delegation to Kazakhstan was a significant event, marking the first time the Council had returned to Astana in 10 years.
In his welcoming remarks, Selçuk Yüce, Chairman of the Türkiye–Kazakhstan Business Council, highlighted the high potential of bilateral cooperation and the strong interest of Turkish businesses in expanding their presence in the Kazakhstani market.
On behalf of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Director of the International Cooperation Department Diana Zhakutova delivered a presentation about the Chamber’s activities, key areas of work, and new opportunities for foreign partners. She emphasized that the Chamber serves as a practical platform for developing business ties, helping Kazakhstani and foreign companies establish direct contacts and launch joint projects.
Following the official part, a Q&A session was held, during which Turkish entrepreneurs received information about opportunities to enter the Kazakhstani market and the current state support measures for investors.
The Turkish delegation included Selçuk Yüce, Chairman of the Kazakhstan–Türkiye Business Council, board members Atilla Sinacı and Savaş Zorlu, as well as the Council’s representative in Kazakhstan, Ahmet Budan.
The participants agreed to further deepen the business dialogue and jointly develop specific investment initiatives.
