Kazakhstan and South Korea to Intensify Economic Cooperation in Seoul

Ahead of the next meeting of the "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" Business Council in Seoul, a meeting took place between Sergey Ho, a representative of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Ji Chang Son, Deputy Executive Director of the Forum Secretariat, and other Secretariat staff. The meeting was facilitated and attended by Kazakhstan's Representative to the Forum Secretariat, Kamila Mautova.

The agenda of the upcoming meeting was discussed, along with new Kazakhstani initiatives aimed at creating systemic mechanisms to enhance economic cooperation between the business communities of the Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries.

Both parties emphasized their shared understanding of the goals, focus, and approaches to improving the effectiveness of the Business Council platform, which holds significant potential for positively influencing the economic integration of businesses from participating countries.

Sergey Ho highlighted the crucial role of the Secretariat in coordinating both the organizations representing interests within the Business Council and other relevant structures of the interested countries. Ji Chang Son reaffirmed his readiness to cooperate in the areas discussed during the meeting.

As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen collaboration through working meetings to jointly develop the presented initiatives and to design and implement new projects.
