Astana hosted the 4th meeting of the Kazakhstan–Saudi Arabia Business Council and the Kazakhstan–Saudi Arabia Business Club. The event served as a key platform for discussing trade and economic cooperation, attracting investment, and launching joint projects.

On behalf of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Diana Zhakutova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, delivered a speech. She emphasized the steady development of relations between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia and outlined the priority areas of partnership: "Over the past year, our countries have reaffirmed their intention to develop investment projects in such areas as energy, industry, agriculture, infrastructure, and IT. Particular attention is being paid to the transport and logistics sector and the development of civil aviation. Today, direct flights from Almaty, Shymkent, and Astana to Jeddah and Medina are contributing to the growth of business and humanitarian activity."

She also stressed the importance of actively developing Kazakhstan’s export potential: "As of January–July 2025, Kazakhstan’s trade balance remains negative, which indicates the need to find new niches for our products in the Saudi market. It is important to expand the range—from agribusiness and engineering to metallurgy and the chemical industry. At the same time, logistics and trade conditions must be improved: establishing joint trading houses, creating direct supply routes, and developing halal product certification."

It was also noted during the forum that the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan provides comprehensive support to exporters, investors, and entrepreneurs. The Chamber offers turnkey services — from finding reliable partners and conducting project expertise to organizing business forums and supporting transactions. When accompanying investment projects, the Chamber applies an individual approach, offering both financial support measures (subsidies, tax incentives) and non-financial instruments (infrastructure, land plots). In addition, the Chamber actively assists in resolving administrative issues, interacting with government agencies, and eliminating barriers to business.

The forum concluded with a series of B2B meetings and discussions, which became a starting point for new joint initiatives and for strengthening trust between the business communities of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
