Sabr Yesimbekov has been appointed Co-Chairman of the Kazakhstan-Japan Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation

On February 25, 2026, Sabr Yesimbekov was appointed Co-Chairman of the Kazakhstan–Japan Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Kazakhstani side.

It should be noted that the Kazakhstan–Japan Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation is an important bilateral platform aimed at developing and strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and Japan. Within the framework of the Committee’s activities, issues related to the expansion of trade cooperation, attraction of investments, implementation of joint projects, as well as the development of cooperation in industry, energy, infrastructure, innovation, and other promising areas are considered.

The appointment of Sabr Yesimbekov as Co-Chairman of the Committee is intended to facilitate the intensification of business dialogue between the two countries, promote new initiatives, and expand practical cooperation between the business communities of Kazakhstan and Japan.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Japan and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan have also been informed of this appointment.
