The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan Holds Meeting with the CCPIT Ningbo Delegation

The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan held a meeting with a delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ningbo Committee (CCPIT Ningbo), during which the parties discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic, investment, and legal cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.

The Chinese delegation was led by Xia Qun, Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Ningbo. The delegation also included Chen Haojie, Director of the Research and Supervision Department of the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Justice; Mo Aiping, Chief Judge for Bankruptcy and Liquidation Cases of the Ningbo Intermediate People's Court; Li Jia, Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Division of CCPIT Ningbo; and Ma Lin, Director of the CCPIT Ningbo Commercial Mediation Center.

The Kazakh side was represented by Dauren Autalipov, Managing Director of the Trade Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken"; Madina Yesdauletova, Deputy Director of the Commercial Activities Department of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, who moderated the meeting; representatives of the Kazakh business community; and employees of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" implementing the "One Village – One Product" project.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation, attracting investment, strengthening direct business contacts between entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and China, and implementing joint investment projects.

Particular attention was paid to supporting Kazakh manufacturers, including identifying Chinese producers of technological equipment, modern industrial solutions, and potential investors for project implementation. Representatives of the "One Village – One Product" initiative presented promising projects of domestic producers and discussed opportunities for establishing direct cooperation with Chinese companies to modernize production, attract investment, and promote products to new markets.

A separate focus of the discussions was the development of cooperation in legal support for international trade. The participants exchanged experience in commercial mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, emphasizing the importance of creating an effective system to protect the interests of businesses engaged in international projects and foreign economic activities.

The parties also expressed their interest in expanding cooperation between the business communities of Kazakhstan and China through joint business missions, business forums, B2B meetings, exhibitions, training programs, seminars, and the exchange of information on trade and investment opportunities in both countries.

Following the meeting, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ningbo Committee (CCPIT Ningbo) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing long-term cooperation in trade, investment, legal support for business, and institutional cooperation.

The Memorandum provides for the exchange of information on the trade and economic potential of Kazakhstan and China, assistance in finding business partners and investors, organization of joint business events, support for investment projects, development of cooperation in commercial mediation and arbitration, and strengthening direct ties between the business communities of the two countries.

The signing of the Memorandum marked an important step in strengthening Kazakhstan-China business partnership and confirmed the mutual commitment of both parties to expanding practical cooperation, creating favorable conditions for business, implementing joint investment projects, and further developing sustainable trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and China.
