On October 31, 2025, the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable – KGIR 2025 took place in Astana — the country’s key investment event, held annually under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since its launch in 2017, the forum has served as a strategic platform to promote Kazakhstan as a reliable hub for investment and international economic partnership.

This year’s forum was held under the theme “New Solutions in the Era of Transformation: Kazakhstan as a Center of Sustainable Economic Development.”
The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan (KazCIC) took part in the event, represented by Dana Kasymova, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board.

KGIR 2025 brought together more than 1,000 participants from 55 countries, including government officials, heads of national companies, international corporations, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and investment associations.

The forum’s agenda included key sessions dedicated to sustainable growth and innovation development:

  • “From Innovation to Sustainability: How the AIFC Shapes Kazakhstan’s Modern Investment Climate”;

  • “Logistics Transformation and the Food of the Future: New Drivers of Kazakhstan’s Sustainable Growth”;

  • “Critical Minerals and the Energy Transition: Forming Kazakhstan’s Sustainable Resource Strategy”;

  • and the Plenary Session “New Solutions in the Era of Transformation: Kazakhstan as a Center of Sustainable Economic Development” with the participation of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.

In his remarks at the plenary session, Olzhas Bektenov emphasized that Kazakhstan continues to confidently strengthen its status as a reliable investment partner and pursues a proactive economic policy aimed at creating favorable conditions for investors.

“Kazakhstan remains an open and predictable country for long-term investments. Building a relationship of trust with investors is an integral part of our investment policy. We are ready to provide comprehensive support at all stages of project implementation,” noted Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov.

The event concluded with an award ceremony honoring top investor companies and the signing of key commercial agreements aimed at developing strategic partnerships and implementing new investment projects in Kazakhstan.
